About our company
Eman8 is led by Michael Norris, an award-winning construction professional with 19 years' experience across the UK and Australia — from Apprentice Joiner through to Project Manager, delivering commercial and heritage projects with a UK Tier 1 contractor and leading Sydney construction firms.
Michael spent close to 12 years with Kier Construction, a UK Tier 1 contractor, progressing from site trades through to Site Manager on new-build high schools, heritage museum refurbishments, and both heritage and new-build theatre projects — including the Grade II listed Chester Theatre Storyhouse ($40m). Since relocating to Australia, he has delivered heritage refurbishments, heritage hospitality refurbishments and a series of high-end restaurant and office fit-outs for premium commercial clients — including the Malaya Restaurant fit-out and Letra Bar, winner of an MBA NSW Excellence in Construction Award for client Love Tilly Group.
He holds a UK BSc (Hons) in Construction and Commercial Management, has recently completed a Diploma in Design Management, and is working toward registration as a Designer — combining hands-on trade knowledge with senior project management, design capability and commercial control that most consultants or builders don't carry.
Eman8 exists to bring design and delivery together into one coordinated process — working closely with architects and designers from the earliest stages, so that great design is also buildable, on budget, and carried through to completion with the same intent it was drawn with. The result for clients is fewer parties, clearer accountability, and a simpler path from concept to completion.
